Syntea Business Solutions completed an implementation and on January 25th, 2011 set up a Project and Budget Management System in the Marshal’ Office of the Śląskie Voivodeship. This pilot project will continue till the end of this year and since 2012 will embrace 22 departments and all of the subordinated entities. Unlimited number of end users will have an access to the system. Syntea Business Solutions will support the system until January, 2013.

Syntea Business Solutions made an offer for the implementation of the Project and Budget Management System for the Marshal’ Office of the Śląskie Voivodeship with the use of public tender procedures and received the maximum quantity of points.

System designed and implemented by Syntea Business Solutions allows to project and project portfolio  management, including project budget management. System is composed of 3 modules: Budget, Project and Reports which respectively allow for:

  • task entering, management and completion, with assigned budget
  • schedule management and information exchange
  • advanced reporting and analyses.

Data presentation for management staff was a key functionality during the implementation process. Now, due to the access to data in real time, employees of the Marshal’ Office eliminate time-consuming and engaging lots of people process of data collecting and processing.

I judge more than a yearlong cooperation with Syntea Business Solutions very favorably. Syntea Business Solutions employees showed knowledge concerning processes and functioning of local government units, deep knowledge of Microsoft technology and competences and experience indispensible in implementation of such projects.
